Weil was again ranked in Global Investigations Review’s GIR100, an annual ranking of the best law firms for complex, multijurisdictional corporate investigations. In its report, GIR highlighted the Firm’s commanding cross-border expertise in high-stakes white-collar defense, regulatory and investigations work. This is the 11th consecutive year that Weil has been ranked in the GIR100.
The publication recognized Weil’s “track record of guiding clients through moments of existential risk” and reputation for handling “sensitive mandates across sectors.” GIR also called out the Firm’s wave of recent federal regulatory agency hires, particularly noting the additions of former Securities and Exchange Commission veterans Sanjay Wadhwa and Andrew Dean, “reinforcing the practice’s crisis credentials with fresh weight in securities enforcement.” GIR additionally highlighted the Firm’s representation of RBC Capital Markets in litigation brought by the Trustee for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, which follows an internal investigation and a recently resolved SEC inquiry.

- Daniel Stein – Global White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practice Head

- Nili Moghaddam – Complex Commercial Litigation partner
- Robert Stern – Securities Litigation partner
