Weil Advised Brookfield in $5B Initial Closing for Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund

Weil advised Brookfield in the $5 billion initial closing for Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), which includes capital commitments from a select group of institutional and industry partners, including Brookfield, NVIDIA and KIA. BAIIF is targeting $10 billion of equity commitments to invest in the backbone of artificial intelligence.

BAIIF, together with additional capital from its co-investors and prudent financing, will acquire up to $100 billion of AI infrastructure assets, deploying investment across every stage of the value chain – from energy and land to data centers and compute.

The Weil team was led by Private Funds Co-Head Andrew Chizzik and includes Private Funds partner Jacquelyn Volpe and associates Priyanka Bagrodia, Charu Singh, Bea Asta and Raquel Greenberg (Not Yet Admitted in New York); and Tax partner Robert Frastai and associates Sidney Chiang, Courtney Baltz (Not Yet Admitted in Washington, D.C. ) and Sean Kiley (Not Yet Admitted in New York).
