Restructuring Department Co-Chair Jeffrey Saferstein has been inducted into the American College of Bankruptcy, one of the bankruptcy sector’s most prestigious honors.
Jeffrey is among the 37th class of fellows honored for their “professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice.”
The American College of Bankruptcy is a public service organization of professionals in the insolvency industry who have been invited to join based on their proven track records “of the highest standards of expertise, leadership, integrity, professionalism, scholarship and service to the insolvency practice and to their communities.”
Other Weil partners who are American College of Bankruptcy Fellows include Co-Chair Matt Barr, partner and former Co-Chair Gary Holtzer as well as former partners Harvey Miller, Marcia Goldstein, Stephen Karotkin and Lori Fife in receiving this prestigious honor.
Fellows include judges, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, academics and other practitioners in the field. The induction ceremony was held at the college’s annual meeting on March 19 in San Antonio, Texas.
