Melissa Bredbenner is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust group in Washington, DC.

Prior to joining Weil, Melissa worked as a legal intern at the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, as a legal intern in White House Counsel’s Office, and as a law clerk in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Before law school, Melissa was a litigation paralegal, where she focused primarily on antitrust cases.

Melissa received her J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a business management certificate at The Wharton School. She served as President of the Penn Carey Law Antitrust Association and as a Littleton Fellow, where she taught legal writing to 1L students. She also worked as a teaching assistant for Professor Herbert Hovenkamp’s antitrust courses at Penn Law and Wharton and co-authored an article published in The Regulatory Review with him.  She served on the editorial board of the Journal of Constitutional Law and The Regulatory Review.
