Biography

Yousef Ziyadi
Yousef Ziyadi is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice.

Yousef represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes. His experience includes serving on Weil’s trial team representing Duke Energy in antitrust litigation involving allegations of monopolization and anticompetitive conduct relating to the electricity market in the Southeast.

Before joining Weil, Yousef served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John M. Gallagher of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also clerked at a national plaintiffs’ class action firm, where he assisted with the prosecution of class actions involving the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Yousef maintains a particular interest in antitrust law, and his scholarship has been published in academic journals, including an article examining the application of antitrust doctrine to medical education and physician training programs.

Yousef received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as an Articles Editor of the Georgetown Law Technology Review and was inducted to the Order of the Coif. He earned his A.B. from Georgetown University. Yousef is also fluent in Arabic.
