Biography

Christina Swiatowy is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust group. Her practice focuses on government investigations and regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions across a range of industries, including technology, internet services and software, healthcare analytics, chemicals, and oil and gas.
Christina also maintains an active pro bono practice, which as of late has included work on behalf of the Innocence Project and HIAS (a Jewish American nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian aid and assistance to refugees).
Prior to joining Weil, Christina served as a summer law clerk at a boutique litigation firm, focusing on civil, business, and commercial litigation, among other practice areas. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and received her B.A., summa cum laude in English Literature and Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo
Christina’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- ChampionX Corporation in its pending $7.8 billion sale to SLB.
- Giant Eagle, Inc. in the pending sale of GetGo Café + Market Stores to Alimentation Couche-Tard, Inc.
- WTW in the $632 million sale of its TRANZACT direct-to-consumer insurance distribution business to GTCR.
- Microsoft on its investment in OpenAI.
- NJOY in the $2.75 billion sale to Altria Group, Inc.
- Meta Platforms (f/k/a Facebook) in its $400 million acquisition of Within.
- IQVIA in its effort to defend its proposed acquisition of Propel Media Inc., which owns DeepIntent, a healthcare advertising platform, in litigation with the FTC.
