Valerie Hayes
As the Director of Administration for the Houston office of Weil, Valerie Hayes is responsible for administration of the Houston office operations including overall support functions of legal personnel and administrative staff. Valerie also manages legal recruiting, client relations and business development initiatives through planning and coordinating activities for candidates, clients, potential clients, and internal marketing events.

Prior to her current role, Valerie has served in similar roles at other major law firms, with a specialty in Human Resources, managing primarily Houston offices and in some cases multiple offices, where she managed all aspects of administrative staff, legal recruiting, organized social events and managed day-to-day administrative responsibilities. She earned her degree in Corporate/Organizational Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Houston (Main Campus). Valerie earned her Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) in 2012, her SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2015 and her Certified Legal Manager (CLM) Certification in 2019.

Valerie is also a committed and active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), having served on various international and local volunteer positions, and she is currently serving on the Houston Association of Legal Administrators (HALA) Chapter Board as the President-Elect and will transition into her second term as President on April 1, 2026.
