Biography
Tanja Koivistoinen is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Tanja participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Tanja has been part of the teams advising:
- Brookfield Business Partners in its $8 billion sale of Westinghouse Electric Company
- The Mark Anthony Group in connection with the formation of the Más+ by Messi hydration beverage business, an international product venture with Lionel Messi, including related equity and licensing arrangements
Tanja received her LL.M. from New York University School of Law and her Master of Laws, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Helsinki, Finland.
