Myrna Nakhla
Myrna is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice group in New York. She focuses on securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, regulatory investigations, and other complex business disputes in state and federal courts.

Myrna’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. in derivative litigation in Delaware Chancery Court.
  • A cryptocurrency conglomerate and its CEO in a securities class action.
  • Gores and its SPAC directors and officers in stockholder litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery arising out of various de-SPAC transactions.
  • A public company in connection with an SEC investigation.

Myrna maintains an active pro bono practice, including working on intake matters with the Innocence Project.

She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Mary Daly Scholar, a staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, a Fordham Law Moot Court bench coach, and a semifinalist in the William Hughes Mulligan Memorial Moot Court Competition. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Myrna received her B.A. in International Relations, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from New York University. She is fluent in Arabic.
