Mary’s practice focused on corporate governance, tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, including complex cross-border public and private transactions in diverse industries such as offshore exploration and production, chemicals, aviation, and manufacturing. She also represented private equity and hedge fund investors in acquisitions, dispositions, and public and private debt and equity offerings.
Mary advised in restructurings and acquisitions involving companies in bankruptcy and represented clients in numerous international transactions involving investments and dispositions in Europe, China, India, and South America.
In 2011, she was awarded the Sarah T. Hughes Women Lawyers of Achievement Award from the Women in the Law Committee of the State Bar of Texas, given to the outstanding Texas woman lawyer annually. She is a frequent speaker on governance topics.
