Maegan O'Rourke
Maegan O’Rourke is an associate in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in Boston. Maegan participates in the representation of secondary clients in connection with complex secondary transactions, including buyers and sellers in traditional portfolio sales of fund interests as well as private fund sponsors and lead investors in GP-led continuation vehicle transactions.
Maegan has participated in the representation of some of the most active secondary investors in the market, and select clients include Ares Management, Churchill Asset Management, CPP Investments (CPPIB), Dawson Partners, Glouston Capital Partners, Intermediate Capital Group, RCP, and StepStone Group, among others.
Maegan has experience working with private fund sponsors on all aspects of their business, including fund structuring and formation, co-investment funds and managed accounts, regulatory issues and compliance, and day-to-day management and operations.
Prior to joining Weil, Maegan was an associate at another international law firm.
