Justin Lin

Justin Lin is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice. He focuses on litigating securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, and M&A litigation in state and federal courts.

Justin’s recent notable experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • American Securities in ongoing fiduciary duty litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery relating to an acquisition by ASP Flag Intermediate Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of American Securities, of Foundation Building Materials, Inc.
  • Gores Holdings IV in ongoing fiduciary duty litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery relating to Gores Holdings IV’s $16.1 billion merger with United Wholesale Mortgage.
  • Gores Guggenheim, Inc. in ongoing fiduciary duty litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery relating to Gores Guggenheim’s $20 billion business combination with Polestar Performance AB.

Justin received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an Editor for the Harvard Environmental Law Review and for the Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University. Prior to joining Weil, Justin was an associate at two other global law firms.
