Julia Schöfer is counsel in the Corporate department of our Munich office. She advises financial sponsors and strategic investors on M&A, private equity, and general corporate law matters across a variety of industry sectors. She has extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions, carve-outs and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Weil, she worked as a lawyer in a major international law firm.

Julia studied law at Ludwigs-Maximilians-University, Munich (law degree 2016) and earned her doctorate from the University of Regensburg (2021). She completed her legal training in the corporate departments of three international law firms in Munich and Cape Town. She was admitted to practice in Germany in 2019.
Julia is fluent in German and English.
