Biography
Joon Cho is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust practice group. His practice focuses on regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions, civil antitrust litigation, and government investigations. He has worked on matters encompassing a range of industries, including telecommunications and mass media, pharmaceuticals, gaming, and aerospace and defense technology.
Joon also recently spent some time as in-house counsel for the semiconductor business at Samsung Electronics in Korea.
Prior to his legal career, Joon was an equity research analyst and served in the Korean Marine Corps.
Joon received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was the Development Editor of the Asian American Law Journal. He earned his M.S. and B.S. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
