Jamie Macdonagh is a Corporate associate in London who has advised, as part of a team, a number of leading private equity funds and major corporates on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and sales of companies and businesses.
Representative experience as part of a team includes:
- Bain Capital on its $4bn acquisition of 60% of Kantar from WPP Group, its bid to acquire LV= and its £1.2billion take private of the esure Group
- OMERS Private Equity on numerous European transactions, including its acquisition of Bionic and its acquisition, with Partners Group, of International Schools Partnership
- Advent International on its $6.4bn acquisition of Maxar Technologies, its acquisition of Ammeraal Beltech and its investment in Medius
- The consortium led by Advent International on the $8bn offer for Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (SOBI)
- VINCI Airports on its acquisition of a 50.01% majority stake in Gatwick Airport from Global Infrastructure Partners
- Providence Equity on numerous European transactions, including its acquisitions of Node4, Superstruct Entertainment and NACE
- PAI Partners on its acquisition of HKA
- Froneri, with PAI, on its $4bn acquisition of Nestlé’s Ice Cream business in the US
- Howden Group (formerly Hyperion Insurance Group) on its acquisitions of A Plan and Aston Lark, and the investment by Hg Saturn in Howden Group
- General Atlantic on its investment in Dixa
