Biography
Katie DePaola is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Katie participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Katie has been part of the teams advising:
- EQT Partners and its portfolio company WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems in its sale of WASH to Northleaf Capital Partners and AVALT
- GHK Capital Partners in sale of its portfolio company ITS Logistics
- Goldman Sachs in its $665 million acquisition of Industry Ventures
- TowerPoint Capital, alongside Meritage Group in recapitalization of mission-critical wireless infrastructure assets into TowerPoint Infrastructure Partners
Katie received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served on the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. While in law school, Katie served as a judicial intern to the Honorable C. Darnell Jones, II of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Katie received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
