Avi Snider
Biography

Avi Snider is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice. He litigates significant business disputes in state and federal courts nationwide.
Avi’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A national hospital chain in chapter 11 proceedings
- A hedge fund in a breach of contract appeal
- An international media conglomerate in an antitrust action regarding the launch of a sports streaming network
- A tech company in an injunction litigation relating to antitrust claims asserted by a large app developer
- A post-plea litigation involving an individual charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York with wire fraud conspiracy, and related offenses connected to his ownership of a network of for-profit daycare centers in Brooklyn, NY.
Avi’s notable pro bono work includes working on Weil teams advising clients in several religious discrimination cases and representing a Congolese refugee in a family reunification mandamus action against USCIS.
Avi received his J.D., cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he was a Senior Articles Editor for the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. During law school, he also served as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Reggie B. Walton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He earned his B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from Touro University.
