Antitrust partner Niklas Maydell, counsel Annagiulia Zanazzo and Chris Chapman and associate Clémence Coppin were named recipients of a Concurrences 2026 Antitrust Writing Award in the Europe Business Article category.

This accolade is the result of a 3-month process involving 60 international antitrust experts, and 600 articles that have been reviewed. Their article, “Catch Me if You Can: What Next for EU Merger Policy Towards Below Threshold Transactions?”, was originally published in WorthWeil, Weil’s Global Antitrust blog.

Winners were honored at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 24, 2026.
