Weil has advised Advent on its sale of Irca, a global B2B manufacturer of ingredient solutions, to CVC.

Headquartered in Italy, Irca produces value-added ingredients and semi-finished products for the pastry, bakery, chocolate and ice cream markets. The company operates a global manufacturing and distribution platform spanning 19 facilities and more than 7,000 products, serving customers in over 100 countries.

Weil previously acted for Advent on the original acquisition of Irca.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q4 2026.

The team was led by Marco Compagnoni, supported by Arisa Manawapat and Jack Spain, and included Jenine Hulsmann. Weil is working alongside PedersoliGattai whose team is led by Carlo Montagna, supported by Francesca Luvisotti and Matteo Sica Fiorillo.
