Private Equity partner Barbara Jagersberger, Corporate counsel Steffen Giolda and associate Kevin Mägerle and Tax associate Florian Striefler have been jointly shortlisted for 2025 TrustLaw “Lawyer of the Year” honors.

The group was nominated by Joshua Ross, CEO of Humantix, a ticketing platform that donates 100 percent of its profits to charity. In nominating the Weil team, Joshua noted, “You wouldn't know it’s a pro-bono project with the amount of work they've put into this … It is very clear in the interactions that they love our mission and really want to help us succeed.”

TrustLaw, the global pro bono service of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, is the largest pro bono legal network in the world. Its annual “Lawyer of the Year” awards recognize “the remarkable legal teams and pro bono projects undertaken by the TrustLaw Network’s Members for NGOs, independent media and social enterprises around the world.”

Eligible attorneys were nominated from among the hundreds of pro bono matters TrustLaw facilitates annually. Winners are chosen via voting through June 13.
