Banking & Finance partner Brendan Conley was featured in a profile by the Dallas Business Journal following his selection as one of the publication’s “40 Under 40” honorees for 2026.

The profile included a Q&A on Brendan’s background and passions outside of work, as well as his advice for young lawyers:

“Slow down. Courtney Marcus, one of my mentors, would consistently give me this advice throughout my career. It applies to how I spoke to clients and counterparties, how quickly I turned documents or responded to emails and to how the younger associates I aspire to mentor see me.”

Winners were selected from a range of industries in the Dallas-Fort Worth area based on “their professional accomplishments, impact on their organizations and wider community impact.” The magazine’s judges, who are all prior winners of the contest, selected recipients from more than 300 nominations.
