Tyler Talton
Tyler Talton is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.

Tyler received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as Articles and Notes Editor for the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal, and his M.B.A. from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.  Tyler received his LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law. 

Prior to joining Weil, Tyler served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Karen B. Owens of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and the Honorable Lisa G. Beckerman of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Tyler has been a member of teams advising clients in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, including:

Debtor/Company-Side Experience:

  • Steward Health Care System LLC, the largest private, physician-owned for-profit healthcare network in the United States with over $8 billion in debt obligations ($7 billion of which is in long-term lease commitments), in its chapter 11 cases.
