Michael Creme is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.
Michael received his J.D., Order of the Barristers, from SMU Dedman School of Law and his M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business, where he served as Chair of the Board of Advocates and was Lord Chief Baron of the Barristers. During law school, Michael participated in numerous Moot Court competitions, including the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition where he was a national champion advocate for two consecutive years. Prior to joining Weil, Michael served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Robert D. Drain in the Southern District of New York.

- Air Methods Corporation, the nation’s leading air medical service provider, in connection with its prepackaged chapter 11 cases, resulting in a $1.7 billion deleveraging.
- Scandinavian Airlines, a publicly traded airline based in Sweden in connection with its global restructuring and chapter 11 reorganization.
- MediaMath Holdings Inc. and its affiliates, a leading provider of digital media trading technology and services, in connection with a comprehensive, out-of-court recapitalization transaction, through which certain existing shareholders and financial stakeholders committed to invest up to $150 million through a mix of new capital and a refinancing of existing debt.
- An ad hoc group of secured noteholders in connection with the prepackaged chapter 11 cases of Nautical Solutions, L.L.C., a provider of vessels for deep water projects.
