Mariko M. Tran
Biography
Mariko Tran is counsel in Weil’s Corporate Department and is based in Silicon Valley. Mariko participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Mariko has been part of the teams advising:
- Galvanize Climate Solutions in its investment in Ascend Analytics
- Genstar Capital in its acquisitions of Abracon LLC and The SEER Group LLC
- GS SEER Group Purchaser Corp. in its acquisition of Donley Service Center, Inc.
- PSP Investments, as an investor alongside others, in a $300 million investment in Branch, in a transaction that valued Branch at approximately $4 billion on a post-money basis
- Sumeru Equity Partners in its $300 million acquisition of beqom SA (a portfolio company of Goldman Sachs and Eurazeo)
- TCV in its sale of OneSource Virtual, Inc.
Mariko received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. She received her B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences and B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
