Finn-Valentin Kolitsch
Biography
Finn-Valentin Kolitsch is an associate in the Litigation department of the Frankfurt office. He advises our clients in dispute resolution matters and focuses on complex commercial litigation.
Finn-Valentin studied law in Münster (law degree 2020) and attended a two-year master program in Lund, Sweden (LL.M. 2022). He completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg in 2024 with a focus on international cooperation and litigation. He was admitted to practice in Germany in 2025.
Finn-Valentin is fluent in German and English and speaks Spanish.
Relevant experience includes:
- Advising a German bank in compliance investigations in connection with harassment allegations and in the subsequent litigation
- Representing a financial institution in connection with the cum/ex tax dispute in Germany
- Advising a German bank in an internal investigation in connection with several real estate transactions in the United States
- Advising and representing a leading European manufacturer of aluminum rolled products in disputes with suppliers
- Advising a German bank in compliance investigations in connection with share transactions around the dividend record date
- Representing an infrastructure developer in a dispute with a landowner pool in connection with the development and construction of a wind park
