Felicity Young
Felicity is an Associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office. Felicity represents debtors, creditors, equity holders, acquirers, sponsors and other participants in in- and out-of-court reorganizations, and has experience in domestic and complex cross border restructuring matters.

Felicity is actively involved in the Firm’s pro bono practice, having supported clients alongside Sanctuary for Families, Legal Services New York and the Innocence Project.

Prior to joining Weil, Felicity was a lawyer in a market leading restructuring practice in Sydney, Australia.

Debtor/Company-Side Experience:

  • Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of mattresses in North America, in connection with its chapter 11 case with approximately $1.9 billion in debt obligations.
  • Scandinavian Airlines, a publicly traded airline based in Sweden in connection with its global restructuring and chapter 11 reorganization.
  • Ruby Pipeline, LLC, a developer and operator of interstate natural gas pipeline and supplier of natural gas to consumers in California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest, in connection with its chapter 11 case.

Creditor/Lender/Other Experience:

  • CPPIB Credit Investments in its senior secured credit facilities for David's Bridal, LLC.
  • The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in connection with the chapter 11 cases of Cineworld Group PLC with approximately $5.35 billion in total funded debt obligations.
