Catherine Cazes
Catherine’s experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A global food and beverage company in an appeal alleging tortious conduct and consumer deception
- A large technology company in several appeals to the Ninth Circuit
- A global digital payment technology company in litigation alleging RICO and TVPRA violations.
Catherine’s pro bono practice includes representing currently or formerly incarcerated individuals seeking to enforce their rights under the U.S. Constitution and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act.
Catherine recently rejoined Weil after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Sarah A. L. Merriam of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Previously, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Catherine received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as Development Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law. Catherine earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Villanova University.
