Catherine Cazes is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group, where she focuses on litigating a broad array of complex commercial cases in state and federal courts nationwide and before arbitration panels.
Catherine currently serves on Weil teams representing clients in the public utility and defense and aviation sectors on issues related to contractual obligations, financial restructuring, and bankruptcy protections.
Outside of her active practice, Catherine offers pro bono representation to prisoners seeking to protect their Eighth and First Amendment rights.
Catherine received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as a Development Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law. During law school, she served as Judicial Intern for the Honorable Joan M. Azrack of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.
