Biography
Carl is counsel in the Private Funds Group in Weil’s London office.
He advises a diverse range of investment fund managers on the structuring, marketing, fundraising and operation of their private funds across the major asset classes (including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and debt funds). Carl also advises clients in respect of co-investment schemes, carried interest arrangements and secondary transactions.
Clients for whom Carl has recently acted include Cheyne Capital Management, Generation Investment Management, Big Issue Invest and Bregal Investments.
Prior to joining Weil, Carl was a senior associate in the London office of a Magic Circle law firm and completed secondments at Capital Dynamics and Credit Suisse.
