Benjamin Nicholson
Ben Nicholson is Counsel in Weil’s White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations and Complex Commercial Litigation practices. He focuses on white collar defense, criminal trials, investigations, securities litigations, and high-stakes business disputes in federal courts. He has litigated multiple criminal and civil trials across the country.

- Former founding team members of a Silicon Valley social media company facing civil securities fraud claims in the Northern District of California.
- Two major media companies in civil defamation and hacking claims in the Southern District of Florida.
- An insurance company conducting an internal investigation in anticipation of stock-drop litigation.

Ben has an active pro bono practice helping survivors of domestic abuse obtain restraining orders against their abusers. Ben also serves as a board member of the Survivors Justice Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to securing justice for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Prior to joining Weil, Ben worked at other international law firms. Ben received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Binghamton University, where he graduated with the university’s highest honors in Philosophy and English.
