Weil has been named a finalist in five categories in The National Law Journal 2025 Legal Awards, including the prestigious “Law Firm of the Year” award.
In the individual categories, Complex Commercial Litigation partner Jessica Falk was shortlisted in the “Winning Litigators – Plaintiffs” category for being one of the lead attorneys who secured a $406.8M landmark verdict for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. Inc. on claims that Amgen Inc. unlawfully monopolized the U.S. market for PCKSK9 inhibitors, a class of medications that reduce hard-to-treat high cholesterol.
The National Law Journal also selected Weil as a finalist in the following categories:
- “Litigation Departments of the Year, General Litigation” for the Litigation Department’s success in the past year across practices and industries. The Firm won this distinction in 2024 and this is the third consecutive year Weil has been shortlisted in this category.
- “Litigation Departments of the Year, Antitrust” for guiding major companies facing their most critical antitrust challenges.
- “Litigation Departments of the Year, Products Liability” for achieving favorable outcomes in numerous cases for large consumer brands.
- “Law Firm of the Year” in recognition of Weil’s recent litigation successes and industry leadership over the past year.
