Global Litigation Department Co-Chair David Lender has been inducted as a Fellow into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. David was selected following a rigorous vetting process based on peer and judicial review, by achieving a “career of excellence,” and demonstrating “skills in trial” and “integrity and professionalism,” in addition to pro bono and community involvement.
Founded in 1954, the IATL is broadly recognized as the most prestigious organization of trial lawyers in the world. Membership in the IATL is limited to 500 active trial lawyers in the United States.
During his 30 year career, David has tried more than 30 cases to verdict and been honored as a “Litigator of the Year” by The American Lawyer and a “Litigation Trailblazer” by National Law Journal, in addition to a “Top 100 U.S. Trial Lawyer” by Benchmark Litigation every year since 2018. He also is currently ranked in Band 1 for Commercial Litigation in New York by Chambers USA, in which clients have referred to him as a “phenomenal trial lawyer” and “a very accomplished litigator” with “excellent strategic sense,” a “keen intellect,” “work ethic,” and “mastery of the details.”
