Daily Journal has named Complex Commercial Litigation partner and Silicon Valley office Co-Managing Partner Bambo Obaro and Litigation partner Diane Sullivan among its “Leading Commercial Litigators” for 2026.
In a profile, the publication noted that Bambo had initially worked in another profession after college before ultimately pursuing law – an interest first developed in high school. Bambo told Daily Journal he chose to be a litigator because it requires him to analyze facts and create compelling arguments.
"Trial work, in particular, is especially appealing – it brings together storytelling, advocacy and real-time engagement with judges and juries,” he said.
The publication noted Diane’s “top tier client roster” and string of recent litigation results. “I'm normal-busy,” she told the Daily Journal. “Litigation is hot. Life can be a fire drill.” The article also referenced The American Lawyer’s characterization of her as a “hired bazooka repeatedly parachuting into high-stakes cases leading up to trial and securing victories.”
This is the fourth consecutive year Diane has received this honor.
