For the fifth consecutive year, Billboard has named Benjamin Marks, Head of Weil’s IP/Media practice, and Todd Larson, IP/Media partner, to its 2025 “Top Music Lawyers” list, which recognizes the nation’s top music lawyers.

Billboard, the music industry leading trade publication, highlighted the pair’s current representation of SiriusXM and Pandora in the Copyright Royalty Board’s Web VI proceeding, which will set royalty rates to be paid by non-interactive webcasters for the rights to publicly perform copyrighted sound recordings and to make ephemeral copies of those recordings during the 2026-2030 period. Billboard also noted their work advising Meta, Spotify, TuneCore and the North American Concert Promoters Association.

The “Top Music Lawyers” list features leading music attorneys selected annually by Billboard’s editors.
