Andrew Dean, partner in Weil’s Securities Litigation and White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practices; Zack Tripp, Co-Head of the Appeals and Strategic Counseling practice; and Greg Burton, associate in the White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practice were named recipients of the 2026 Law360 Distinguished Writing Award.

The accolade, part of The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement, recognizes the 20 best articles by law firm attorneys published in the past year. Their article, “U.S. Courts to Determine Fate of Online Sports Prediction Markets,” was published in Bloomberg Law in October.

Law360 is the lead sponsor of The Burton Awards, which are funded by the Burton Foundation, a nonprofit, academic effort devoted to recognizing and rewarding excellence in the legal profession. The winners of the Law360 Distinguished Writing Awards were chosen from nominations submitted by the nation’s 1,000 largest law firms.

Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on June 1.
