Biography
Sam Mendelson is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Sam participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Sam has been part of the teams advising on the following matters:
- Goldman Sachs in the sale of a majority stake in Restaurant Technologies, Inc.
- ICG, together with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P., in the formation of Accelerate Topco Holdings LLC, and its $839.7 million acquisition of a majority stake in AmeriLife Holdings LLC
- TRP Capital Partners in its single asset investment in GenOx Transportation
Prior to joining Weil, Sam worked in corporate banking at J.P. Morgan, strategy at MetLife and founded an app-based startup.
Sam received his J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he was a Global Fellow Scholar and a Dean’s Leadership Council Scholar.
