Biography
Ryan Federbush is counsel in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York. Ryan represents private investment fund sponsors in connection with the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds ranging from first time funds to multi billion dollar platforms across a variety of asset classes. Ryan also represents institutional investors in connection with their private investment fund investments and in secondary transactions involving interests in private equity funds. Ryan also has significant experience in representing private funds as well as institutional investors in connection with co-investments.
Ryan’s clients include Brookfield Asset Management, Genstar Capital, Lee Equity Partners and PSP.
Ryan received his J.D., cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from University of Wisconsin – Madison.
