Biography

Ryan Blom is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Ryan participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Ryan has been part of the teams advising:
- Cedar Fair in the closing of its $8 billion merger of equals with Six Flags
- Eli Lilly and Company in its acquisition of certain assets from Organovo Holdings, Inc
- Everstream Solutions LLC (a portfolio company of InfraBridge Investors and DigitalBridge Group) in its sale of certain network assets to Lakefront Fiber
- Steward Health Care System LLC, the largest private, physician-owned for-profit healthcare network in the United States with over $8 billion in debt obligations ($7 billion of which is in long-term lease commitments), in its 363 bankruptcy sales
- Midwest Fiber Holdings LP in its entry into a $285 million stalking horse asset purchase agreement with Bluebird MidWest, LLC, an affiliate of Bluebird Fiber, in connection with its chapter 11 proceedings
- Mobileum, Inc., a leading global provider of telecom analytics and network solutions, in connection with its prepackaged chapter 11 cases with approximately $628 million in debt obligations and in its $160 million senior secured term loan facility
Ryan received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from Georgetown University.
