Max Offsay is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and Entertainment, Sports and Media practice, and is based in Los Angeles. He advises companies, investors, and creators across the entertainment and media sectors on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions. His practice includes counseling private equity firms, strategic investors, production companies, and talent-driven enterprises on mergers and acquisitions, library and participation transactions, joint ventures, capital raises, and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
Max received his J.D., from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a Staff Editor for the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts and a Regional Semi-Finalist, Coach and Director of the AIPLA Moot Court team. He received his B.A., magna cum laude from Northwestern University.
