Matthew Chu is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Matthew participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Matthew received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law where he graduated with Pro Bono Distinction, was an Articles Editor of the Northwestern Law Review Online, served as a judicial extern for the Northern District of Illinois, and was a clinical student at the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center. Matthew received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
