Biography
Laurin Schmidt is an Associate in the Corporate department of the Munich office. He focuses on M&A and private equity transactions.
Laurin studied law at the University of Erlangen (law degree 2020). He was admitted to practice in Germany in 2023.
Since joining Weil, Laurin has advised, among others:
- Lone Star Funds on the €4 billion acquisition of ContiTech, a provider of specialized rubber and thermoplastic products and systems, from Continental AG
Laurin is fluent in German and English.
