Biography

Rae Kong is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Rae participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Rae has been part of the teams advising:
- The Home Depot, Inc. in its $5.5 billion acquisition of GMS Inc.
- Sanofi in its $9.5 billion acquisition of Blueprint Medicines
- WEX Inc. in a $450 million senior secured incremental term loan b facility, together with the issuance of $550 million of unsecured notes
Rae received her J.D. from Cornell Law School where she served as an executive board member of the Cornell Law Review as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Editor, and her B.A. summa cum laude from Hanyang University.
