
Jess Serviss is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Jess participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Jess has been part of the teams advising:
- ChampionX Corporation in its pending sale to SLB
- Ember SPV I Purchaser Inc. (an entity controlled by funds managed by Ember Infrastructure Management, LP) in its acquisition, alongside IQ and CDPQ, of H2O Innovation Inc.
- General Atlantic, as equity sponsor and lender in connection with the chapter 11 cases of beauty brand company FORMA Brands
- Hologic, Inc. in its $350 million acquisition of Gynesonics, Inc.
- Lactalis on its $2.1 billion acquisition of the US yoghurt business of General Mills
- Sanofi in its approximately $2.2 billion acquisition of Inhibrx, Inc.
- Scandinavian Airlines, an airline holding company based in Sweden in connection with its restructuring efforts and in its $223 million issuance of contingent value right floating rate notes due 2033 as part of its emergence from Chapter 11 proceedings
Jess received her J.D., cum laude, from St John's University School of Law, where she served as a Staff Member of the St. John’s Law Review and she received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Wagner College.
