Biography
Drew Coleman is an associate in Weil’s Tax Department and is based in New York. Drew participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate, restructuring and private equity transactions.
Drew has been part of the teams advising:
- Apollo S3 Investment Management in its investment in Crestview Partners Continuation Fund
- JLL Partners in the formation of a continuation fund to extend its investment in Solvias AG
- Service Properties Trust in its $580 million offering of senior secured notes due 2027 to redeem the company’s 4.750% senior unsecured notes due 2026
Drew received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as a Technical Editor on the Harvard Journal on Legislation. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
