Camelia Meftoul is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice. She defends securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, and other complex business disputes in state and federal courts.

Outside of her practice, Camelia is actively involved in Weil’s pro bono initiatives, including work for the Innocence Project and Legal Services NYC. She also dedicates her time to Weil’s recruitment efforts and is a member of Women @ Weil, Weil’s global affinity group open to all attorneys who are committed to the mission of attracting, retaining, and developing women.

Prior to law school, Camelia worked as a Senior Project Engineer on a large-scale mixed use construction project in Los Angeles.

Camelia received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a staff member of the Fordham Law Review and a quarterfinalist at the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Moot Court Competition. During law school, she also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Sanket J. Bulsara of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
