Andrew Simon
Andrew leads two teams central to that work: LASER – Lawyer-Augmented Solutions Engineering & Research, a cross-functional group of lawyers, consultants and software engineers that builds, curates and supports AI-enabled legal capabilities; and the Firm’s Operational Transformation and Innovation group.
Andrew joined Weil from Boston Consulting Group, where he was a Managing Director and Partner and led BCG’s Southwest Corporate Finance and Strategy practice. During his decade at BCG he advised global clients on growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale technology and AI transformations across industries including technology, consumer and retail, media, private equity, energy, telecommunications, and travel and tourism. Earlier in his career he held strategy and M&A roles at EY and Accenture and was an associate at a leading global law firm.
Andrew holds a J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law and an M.Sc. in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation, completed in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received the MISI Outstanding Student Award and a MISI Fellowship. He earned a B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis.
