Albert Tang
Albert Tang is an associate in Weil's Capital Markets practice and is based in New York. Albert participates in advising issuers, underwriters and private equity sponsors in connection with public and private offerings of securities and other capital markets transactions. He has been involved in investment grade and high-yield debt offerings as well as primary and secondary equity offerings.

Albert has been part of the teams advising:

  • Asurion LLC in its inaugural $3.3 billion 8.000% senior secured bond offering to finance its acquisition of Domestic & General; and its offering of $3.3 billion 8.375% senior secured second lien notes, with the proceeds used to repay outstanding term loans
  • Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. in a $2.3 billion secondary follow-on offering of Class A common stock; and in a $1 billion secondary follow-on offering of Class A common stock by parent entities controlled by Neos Partners, LP.
  • Fortress Value Acquisition Corp. V in its $287.5 million initial public offering of Class A ordinary shares
  • Gores Holdings XI, Inc., a SPAC sponsored by The Gores Group, in its $358.8 million initial public offering
  • Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in its $1 billion senior notes offering and concurrent redemption of its outstanding senior notes due 2027
  • Avolon Aerospace Leasing Limited in its issuance of up to $1.5 billion short term commercial paper promissory note
  • Avolon Holdings Limited in an $850 million offering of 4.700% senior notes; and in a $1.5 billion offering of 4.200% senior notes and 4.850% senior notes
  • TE Connectivity plc, through its wholly owned subsidiary Tyco Electronics Group S.A., in a $200 million tack-on offering of senior notes and a $550 million offering of senior notes
  • The initial purchasers in connection with an offering by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC of $1.7 billion of senior notes
  • Truist, Wells Fargo, and a leading financial institution, as representatives of the underwriters, in a $500 million offering of senior notes by McCormick & Company, Inc.

Albert joined Weil as a summer associate in 2024.

Albert received his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his LL.M from New York University School of Law. He also received his LL.B. from Tsinghua University, where he served a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Tsinghua China Law Review.
