Weil advised Blackstone Growth as the lead investor in Dutch payments group Mollie on the acquisition of UK bank payment company GoCardless. The deal, which values Mollie at €1.95 billion, creates a leading payment platform in Europe integrating card payments, local methods and bank payments.

The Weil team is led by Private Equity partner Simon Lyell. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed by mid 2026.
