Private Equity partner and Los Angeles office Managing Partner Tana Ryan has been selected among the “Top Women Lawyers” in California for 2026 by the Daily Journal.

The publication highlighted Tana’s work advising Forgent Power Solutions in its initial public offering that valued the company at $8 billion and H.I.G. Capital’s acquisitions of Converge Technology Solutions Corp. and Quisitive Technology Solutions Inc. Tana guided the IPO as she was simultaneously opening and growing Weil’s Los Angeles office, Daily Journal noted.

“At the same time, I was helping launch a new office at a new firm, making the successful execution of the IPO especially rewarding both professionally and personally,” she said.

The newspaper also noted the Quisitive deal was cross-border, with Tana navigating Canadian and American legal and regulatory frameworks to complete it.

“In California, one of the biggest challenges right now is navigating uncertainty while still maintaining deal momentum. Financing markets, regulatory scrutiny and valuation expectations can shift quickly, particularly in technology, growth-oriented sectors and for new emerging funds,” Tana said.
