Biography
Tiffany Kim is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where she litigates a broad range of disputes in state and federal courts on behalf of clients in various sectors including healthcare, retail, technology, and e-commerce.
Tiffany’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A global pharmaceutical company in various licensing and post-transaction disputes, including multiple international commercial arbitrations arising out of long-term drug development, collaboration, and licensing agreements;
- A touring subsidiary of a global live entertainment company in a breach of contract action against a performing artist;
- A major food and beverage company in various federal and state class actions brought by independent distributors;
- A major third-party food delivery platform in a putative consumer class action in federal court alleging defendants used dominant market positions to require restaurants to charge higher prices to consumers; and
- A major cryptocurrency mining and hosting company in defending against pre-petition bankruptcy claims and in a federal appeal challenging certain release provisions contained in its chapter 11 plan.
Tiffany also maintains an active pro bono practice and has served on Weil teams representing physicians in constitutional challenges to North Dakota’s statewide abortion ban and representing a former inmate seeking redress under the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act against prison officials.
Tiffany received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she served as Chief Comments Editor of the UCLA Law Review and Managing Editor for the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology. She earned her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
