Biography
Sven Jelinek is an associate in the Antitrust practice of the Munich office. He focuses on advising companies on foreign direct Investments and the full spectrum of competition law.
Sven studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (law degree 2023) and Université de Lausanne. He was admitted to practice in Germany in 2025.
Since joining Weil, Sven's experience includes advising:
- Lone Star in various transactions including:
- the €4 billion acquisition of ContiTech, a provider of specialized rubber and thermoplastic products and systems, from Continental AG
- the acquisition of DOMO Engineered Materials
- TDR Capital in the Sale of NKD Group to Mr Price
- Tipico Founders on transaction with Banijay Group, creating a European champion in sports betting and online gaming
Sven is fluent in German and English.
